This year, Charleston media personalities have been paired with some of Charleston’s most fabulous interior designers to create six beautiful rooms which will be on display at the Charleston Home + Design Show January 25-27, 2008. Each celebrity will also be representing his or her favorite charity, which will receive a $500 donation courtesy of New Home Charleston, organizer of the show. Each interior designer will work with a top local home furnishing company to create a room that reflects the personal style of the celebrity and highlights the latest design trends. Visitors can get an insider’s perspective of their favorite celebrity’s tastes and see for themselves if their on-air image matches their interior design style. After viewing the rooms, visitors to the show will be asked to cast a vote for their favorite room. The charity associated with top vote-getting room will receive the proceeds from a silent auction, in addition to the initial $500 donation. Last year’s silent auction raised over $8,000!
